Ramlösa hälsobrunn, Historic horse-drawn tramway in Ramlösa, Sweden.
The tramway system connected the waterfront area to the renowned health spa hotel through a scenic route spanning several kilometers of track.
Built in 1877, the horse-drawn tramway operated with three carriages on an 891-millimeter gauge track, serving spa visitors until its closure in 1890.
The tramway facilitated access to Ramlösa's mineral springs, where Swedish society gathered to experience the therapeutic waters and social activities.
During summer operations, trams departed every 15 minutes in mornings and 30 minutes in evenings, completing each journey in approximately 10 minutes.
The transportation system used specialized carriages manufactured specifically for the spa route, marking an early example of dedicated tourism infrastructure in Sweden.
