Temple of Saint Michael Archangel

The Temple of Saint Michael Archangel is a Greek Catholic wooden church in Ladomirová with a rectangular layout, a tall roof tower, and traditional wooden decorative elements throughout. The interior features a painted wooden iconostasis that separates the altar area from the main nave and displays numerous religious images.

Built in 1742, the church represents the woodworking skills and construction methods of 18th-century regional craftspeople. It has survived centuries of change and remains a testament to the wooden construction techniques of its era.

The temple reflects Greek Catholic traditions in its wooden construction and arrangement of religious images that shaped how the local community practiced their faith. The wooden iconostasis and carved details inside show the spiritual importance this building held for generations of worshippers.
