Fangshan Township, Coastal township in Pingtung County, Taiwan
Fangshan Township extends over 17.27 square kilometers along the coast, containing four administrative villages: Fangshan, Fenggang, Jialu, and Shanyu.
The administrative structure of Fangshan evolved following Taiwan's governance reforms in the late 20th century, when provincial governments underwent substantial reorganization.
The region produces Aiwen mangoes, which have gained recognition across Asian markets and contribute to the local agricultural identity.
Two railway stations, Neishi and Jialu, connect Fangshan to the Taiwan Railways South-Link Line, providing transportation access for residents and visitors.
Fangshan functions as one of Taiwan's two cable landing points for submarine communication systems, including C2C and SEA-ME-WE 3 networks.
