Luhyny is an urban-type settlement in Korosten Raion, Ukraine, situated across forested and meadow lands. The Zherev River flows through the territory, shaping the natural environment.
The settlement was founded in 1606 and retained its urban-type status for nearly 4 centuries. In January 2024, new legislation reclassified it as a rural settlement.
The settlement maintains two educational institutions, a music school, and a sports facility, while publishing the local newspaper called Promin.
