The Kyiv Ukraine Temple features an exterior made of Amarelo Macieira granite with quartzite crystals and includes a central spire topped with a statue.
The temple opened its doors in August 2010, marking a significant milestone as the first temple built in Ukraine and the former Soviet Union territory.
The temple serves members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints across Ukraine, providing religious ceremonies and spiritual guidance to the community.
The building contains two instruction rooms, two sealing rooms, and one baptistry, spread across 22,184 square feet of religious space.
The Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services recognized this structure as the top religious building in Ukraine for 2010.
