Monaster Trójcy Świętej w Dermaniu

The Trinity Monastery in Derman features stone walls, multiple churches, and a prominent bell tower on the grounds of its religious complex.

Founded in 1428 by Wasyl Ostrogski, the monastery operated a printing press between 1602 and 1620, becoming a center of Russian printing activities.

The monastery served as a center of opposition to the Union of Brest until the 17th century, representing Orthodox traditions in the region.

The monastery complex includes several buildings, a water mill, and various agricultural structures that supported the religious community's daily activities.

During World War II, monks transported valuable items from the monastery to different locations, dispersing the collections between Petersburg and Moscow.
