Kapitanivka

Kapitanivka is a settlement in Ukraine located on the banks of the Rozlyvna River, a tributary flowing through the Southern Bug drainage basin. The community sits at an elevation of 193 meters and is connected to other towns by both railway and road networks.

The settlement experienced significant administrative changes in 2020 when its original rayon merged with Novoukrainka Rayon during Ukraine's territorial reforms. This reorganization reshaped the local governance structure.

The settlement reflects the traditional lifestyle of Ukrainian rural communities, with residents maintaining strong connections to agricultural practices and local traditions.

A railway station connects the settlement to the towns of Smila and Pomichna for regional travel. Roads also link the place to neighboring towns, making arrival by car or bus straightforward.

The Ukrainian rapper Alyona Alyona, who worked as a kindergarten teacher before her music career, originated from this place. Her success has brought attention to the lives and voices of people in rural Ukrainian settlements.
