Park Victory

Park Victory is an arboretum with garden and art elements located in Odesa's Arkadiya district. The grounds feature hundreds of tree and shrub species scattered across the landscape, along with artificial ponds and fountains integrated throughout.

The arboretum was founded in the 1840s and ranks among Odesa's earliest public green spaces. It became a central feature of the city's landscape and continues to shape the character of the district.

The Druzhba Avenue within the park features trees planted by cosmonauts and reflects how the space connects scientific achievement with nature. Walking through this section, visitors experience how different eras have left their marks on the landscape.

The park can be explored on extensive walking paths that connect different sections of the grounds. Visitors should wear sturdy footwear since the terrain is hilly with paths at varying elevations.

The park served as a filming location for Soviet films and showcases heat-loving plants from tropical regions. These exotic species thrive in sheltered spots throughout the grounds, creating an unusual botanical display for the region's climate.
