Memorial museum of Katerina Bilokur in Bohdanivka

The memorial museum occupies the artist's former home and displays her oil paintings, personal objects, and everyday items used in daily life. The house contains her studio, bedroom, and kitchen spaces arranged to show how she lived and worked within these rooms.

The artist created her most recognized works in this village home, which later gained attention beyond Ukraine's borders. The house underwent restoration work and opened to the public as a museum in 1977.

The artist's flower paintings reflect how deeply rooted botanical subjects were in Ukrainian folk tradition and rural life. Walking through the rooms, visitors notice the same plants depicted in her works still growing in the garden outside.

The museum sits in the village center and is easy to reach on foot. The attached garden with mature trees provides space to walk around and take time exploring the full grounds.

A full-length sculpture of the artist stands on the museum grounds and was made by her nephew. This work shows how family members helped preserve and honor her legacy in the village.
