Palace in Rude Selo

The Palace in Rude Selo combines baroque forms with neoclassical architectural elements throughout its design. The exterior displays ornamental moldings while the interior features spacious hallways with rich decorative details.

Construction began in the late 18th century under the direction of the Branicki family, who held considerable political influence in the region. The estate became an important center for landowners and nobility during this era.

The building is currently undergoing restoration work and some areas remain closed to visitors for safety reasons. It is wise to check ahead about current conditions and which rooms are open before visiting.

In winter the grounds around the estate transform into a white landscape where architectural details stand out sharply against snow-covered gardens. This seasonal shift gives the place a completely different look and allows for striking photographs.
