Potocki Palace in Tulchyn

Potocki Palace is a classicist mansion featuring a two-story main building connected to adjoining structures through curved galleries. The entire complex follows strict symmetrical proportions characteristic of late 18th-century architecture.

Construction began in the late 18th century under the direction of French architect Joseph Lacroix, who designed it as a residence for Count Stanislaw Potocki. The choice of a Western European architect reflects the influence of European culture on Ukraine during that era.

The palace served as the residence of a prominent noble family for generations and continues to shape the town's identity today. Its rooms reveal how the aristocracy lived and how this place once influenced the cultural life of the region.
