Sanguszko Palace

Sanguszko Palace stands where the Horyn and Ponora rivers meet, displaying stone walls and architectural details from the 18th century. The building sits on elevated terrain, and its remaining sections show traces of its original spacious layout.

Princess Barbara Sanguszkowa commissioned construction between 1754 and 1777, working with Polish architect Jakub Fontana on the design. After its years as a noble residence, the building later served as military barracks, undergoing significant alterations.

The palace reflects the influence of Polish-Lithuanian nobility that shaped the architectural character of the region. This heritage remains visible in how the structure stands among the local landscape.
