Сокільський, Mountain peak in Pokuttia-Bukovyna Carpathians, Ukraine
The Sokilsky ridge extends for 15 kilometers between the Rybnytsia and Cheremosh rivers, reaching an elevation of 940 meters above sea level.
The first monument to Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko was established by Hutsul people near the Sokilsky rock formation in the 19th century.
Ancient petroglyphs discovered along the Sokilsky ridge indicate the presence of early settlements and reveal historical patterns of human habitation.
Visitors can start their journey from Kosiv, reaching the trailheads in Sokolivka, Yavoriv, Babyn, or Tyudiv using local transportation or taxi services.
The Mykhasyukove Stone formation, located at the beginning of the route from Yavoriv village, resembles the shape of the Norwegian Trolltunga.
