Бродівська гімназія

Brodivska Gymnasium is a school building in Brody featuring classical architecture with balanced proportions. The structure showcases large windows and a stone-columned entrance that defines its main facade.

The school was founded in 1865 and occupied its current building in 1883 following construction that started in 1881 under Austro-Hungarian rule. The institution underwent various transformations across different historical periods.

The educational institution received its name in honor of Ukrainian artist Ivan Trush in 1999, following its restoration as a gymnasium in 1997.

The building is located on Mykhailo Kotsiubynsky Street in Brody and has a visible presence from the street. Keep in mind this is an active school, so visiting arrangements and timing may be restricted.

The gymnasium served as both military barracks and hospital facilities during World War I and World War II, later returning to its educational function.
