Бронтозавр тышкасьӧ кератозавръяскӧд, Monument and work of art in Saky, Ukraine.
The sculpture presents a fight between a plant-eating brontosaurus and predatory ceratosaurs, crafted from xylolit, a mixture of wood sawdust and magnesium cement.
Created by Sergey Likhosherstov in 1932, this monument stands on the shore of an artificial pond named Black Sea within the Saky Resort Park.
The brontosaurus figure became such an essential part of the local identity that in 2005 the Saky City Council incorporated it into the official city emblem.
The sculpture received a restoration in 1982, during which workers covered the dinosaurs with forged copper sheets and modified their proportions.
This monument holds the distinction of being the second dinosaur monument in the world and the first one constructed in the Soviet Union.
