St James's Square, Georgian garden square in Westminster, England

The square contains an equestrian statue of King William III at its center, surrounded by Grade II listed buildings and classical architecture.

First designed in the 1670s, the square underwent changes by Charles Bridgeman in the 18th century and John Nash in the 19th century.

The garden space transformed into vegetable allotments during World War II, supporting the local community through food production efforts.

Four entrance gates provide access from each direction, with the northern entrance marked by the forward-facing William III statue position.

The classical summerhouse, designed by John Nash in 1817, stands against the southern railings with its blank rear wall facing outward.
