Ring of Brodgar, Neolithic henge in Scotland

The Ring of Brodgar is a Neolithic henge and stone circle in Orkney, Scotland.

It was likely built between 2500 BC and 2000 BC, making it one of the last of the great Neolithic monuments built on the Ness.

The site has been recognized as part of the 'Heart of Neolithic Orkney' World Heritage Site since 1999.

Visitors can access the site for free and it's open all year round.

Despite its age, 27 of the original 60 stones are still standing.
