Sutton Hoo, Anglo-Saxon burial site in England
Sutton Hoo is a significant archaeological site that has provided some of the richest and most important Anglo-Saxon findings.
The site was discovered in 1939, just before the outbreak of World War II, and it dates back to the 6th and 7th centuries.
