The Royal Albert Hall is a concert hall on the northern edge of South Kensington, London.
Since its opening by Queen Victoria in 1871, the world's leading artists from many performance genres have appeared on its stage.
It hosts the annual summer Proms concerts, which have been held there since 1941.
The hall has a capacity of up to 5,272 seats and hosts over 390 shows annually.
The distinctive elliptical dome of the hall is made of wrought iron and glass.
