St Columba's Cathedral, Gothic Revival cathedral in Oban, Scotland.
St Columba's Cathedral stands on the Esplanade in Oban, constructed with pink Peterhead granite and blue Inverawe granite against the coastal backdrop.
The foundation stone was laid in 1932, replacing an earlier corrugated iron structure from 1878, and construction completed in 1952 under architect Giles Gilbert Scott.
The cathedral functions as the mother church of the Diocese of Argyll and the Isles, serving the Roman Catholic community across the region.
Visitors can attend Sunday Mass at 10:30 AM, Saturday evening Mass at 6:00 PM, and weekday services at 10:00 AM throughout the year.
International donors from the United States, Canada, and Ireland contributed funds for the construction of this Category A listed religious building.
