The General Electric Building, also known as 570 Lexington Avenue, is a historic skyscraper located at the southwest corner of Lexington Avenue and 51st Street in Midtown Manhattan, New York City.
Completed in 1931, it was originally known as the RCA Victor Building when RCA was part of GE.
The building's design, with its gothic detailing and ornate crown, is a prominent example of Art Deco architecture.
Today, it houses offices and the Sotheby's Institute of Art.
Its elaborate, Gothic-inspired pinnacle is one of the most recognizable features of New York’s skyline.
