Cherry Hill

Cherry Hill is a township in Camden County, New Jersey, covering roughly 24 square miles (63 square kilometers). It brings together homes, shops and green spaces across its territory.

The community started in 1844 under the name Delaware Township and adopted its present name from a farm with cherry trees in the 19th century. Abraham Browning owned that property.

The township sustains multiple cultural venues, including Croft Farm Arts Center and a 72,000-square-foot public library offering educational programs and community events.

Cherry Hill Mall opened as the first enclosed shopping center in the eastern United States and holds many stores and restaurants today. The public library covers roughly 72,000 square feet (6,700 square meters).

TD Bank maintains its headquarters in the community and ranks among the eight largest banks in the United States by deposits. More than 50 public parks spread across the territory.
