The Little Red Lighthouse, officially Jeffrey's Hook Light, is a small lighthouse on the Hudson River in New York City.
Constructed in 1880, it was moved to its current location in 1921.
It became famous by the children's book 'The Little Red Lighthouse and the Great Gray Bridge' by Hildegarde Swift.
Located under the George Washington Bridge along the treed pathway, it's a nice spot for a walk or picnic.
It is one of the few surviving lighthouses in New York City.
