Norwegian Armed Forces Aircraft Collection

The Norwegian Armed Forces Aircraft Collection displays 40 historical aircraft near Oslo Gardermoen Airport in a dedicated exhibition space.

Following the creation of the Norwegian Aviation Historical Society in 1967, the museum gathered aircraft in an old Luftwaffe hangar before moving to a new building in 2000.

The collection presents the evolution of Norwegian military aviation through aircraft, anti-aircraft weapons, and equipment from different periods of national defense history.

The museum includes a cafe, gift shop, children's play area, and free parking facilities for visitors exploring the aviation exhibitions.

Visitors can experience sitting in the cockpit of an actual jet fighter, examining aircraft ranging from Norway's first 1912 model to supersonic military planes.
