Namsskogan Familiepark

Namsskogan Familiepark extends across the grounds near Tronestjønna, featuring over 30 species of animals including bears and Arctic foxes alongside entertainment rides.

Since its establishment in 1989, the park has grown into a major tourist destination, reaching a milestone of 52,000 visitors in 2011.

The park functions as an educational center where visitors learn about Nordic wildlife conservation and natural habitats through direct observation and guided experiences.

During summer months from June to August, the park operates daily between 10:00 and 18:00, while winter visits require advance appointments.

The facility maintains Norway's most extensive collection of Nordic animals while combining wildlife exhibits with family entertainment attractions in one location.
