Fun City, Amusement park in Varberg, Sweden
Fun City was an amusement park near Varberg featuring water slides, adventure zones, and indoor play facilities spread across its grounds. The property offered a range of recreational activities for different age groups.
The park opened in 2004 as a full-scale amusement facility with multiple attractions and roller coasters. It later reduced operations to focus on water attractions before eventually closing to the public.
The park was designed for families with different themed areas such as a Western zone and a circus section. These zones created separate entertainment experiences within one location.
The location was situated south of Varberg near the E6 highway and was easily accessible by road. The grounds had ample space for different activities and facilities in a single area.
After the attractions closed, the grounds were repurposed for other uses and took on a different purpose. The transformation of the former amusement space shows how recreational sites can adapt to new functions.
