Brežice Water Tower

Brežice Water Tower is a structure in Slovenia that rises seven stories into the air. The building contains various spaces with exhibits devoted to the history and technology of water supply.

This tower was built in 1914 when the city constructed a new sewage system. It served as the main water storage for the city for many years until another facility eventually took over its role.

The tower shows how people in this town managed their water supply and what advances they made over time. The displays help visitors understand the role that clean water played in daily city life.

You can reach all levels of the tower by either taking the stairs or using an elevator, whichever suits you best. Drinking fountains are available at various points in the building so you can refresh yourself during your visit.

The original water tank at the top of the tower was converted into an observation platform. From there you can see the entire town and the surrounding landscape in all directions.
