Grm Castle

Grm Castle is a Renaissance structure sitting on a hilltop in Novo Mesto with stone fountains and tree-lined paths running through landscaped gardens and grounds. The building features stone construction with classical architectural details that evolved through several periods.

The castle was built during the Renaissance when such structures served as noble residences in the region. In the early 1900s it was converted to serve as an agricultural education center, shifting its purpose to serve the community differently.

The entrance doors display original coats-of-arms carved into them, identifying the noble families who once lived here. The surrounding park holds rare tree species and an old water well, both of which remain standing today.
