Veľká Domaša

Veľká Domaša is a large reservoir in Eastern Slovakia created by damming the Ondava River. The water body spans a considerable distance through the landscape, with varying depths throughout its basin.

The reservoir was built during the 1960s as a major infrastructure project in Eastern Slovakia. The creation of the water body required relocating communities that had lived in the valleys for generations.
