Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist

The Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist is a Baroque structure in Prešov with three chapels and a main hall decorated with four ceiling paintings from the 18th century. The interior showcases the beauty of this period through its architectural design and artistic decoration.

The building began as a hospital chapel in the 14th century and was later transformed into a standalone church. It gained its present form through renovations in the mid-18th century.
