Pisztory Palace, Neo-Renaissance palace in District of Bratislava I, Slovakia
The palace features ornate architectural elements, including crystal chandeliers, mosaic floors, wrought-iron gates, artistic railings, and decorative stucco ceilings.
Felix Pisztory, a pharmacist, constructed this palace in the 1890s and maintained a garden of medicinal herbs behind the structure.
The building now functions as a cultural center, housing Film Europe Cinema and providing space for theater performances, workshops, and fashion events.
Located near the main railway station at the intersection of Stefanikova street and Palisady, the palace underwent substantial renovation in 2015.
Film Europe Cinema within the palace presents European films in a 99-seat hall that incorporates design elements from the 1950s.
