Singhanakhon

Singhanakhon encompasses 228 square kilometers along the Gulf of Thailand, containing eleven sub-districts and seventy-seven villages across its territory.

The district emerged from Mueang Songkhla district in 1988 as a minor administrative zone before receiving full district status in July 1991.

Each of the eleven tambons maintains its own administrative organization, preserving local traditions and managing community development within their boundaries.
