Vasylii Kochubei House

The Vasylii Kochubei House is a manor in Nizhyn Raion that now operates as a museum displaying rooms from the Cossack period. The stone building contains various chambers with furnishings and collections that document the life of a prominent family.

The house belonged to Vasylii Kochubei, an important statesman of the Cossack state who held the positions of general judge and military chancellor until 1708. His family played a significant role in the political and military history of the region during this period.
