Stirling torcs, Archaeological find in United Kingdom
The Stirling torcs are a group of four gold Iron Age neck ornaments.
They were discovered in Stirling, Scotland, in September 2009 by a metal detector enthusiast.
The torcs highlight the craftsmanship and artistic skills of the Celts during the Iron Age.
Routinely exhibited at the National Museums of Scotland for public viewing.
One of the torcs, the Stirling Hoard, contains a unique hinged design not found elsewhere.
