Amrita Club, Colonial Revival clubhouse in Poughkeepsie, United States.
The Amrita Club occupies a three-story brick building with marble columns at the corner of Church and Market streets in downtown Poughkeepsie.
Founded in 1873 for local businessmen and professionals, the current clubhouse was constructed in 1912 at a cost of 100,000 dollars under Alfred E. Barlow's design.
The clubhouse represents the social hierarchy of early 20th-century Poughkeepsie, serving as a gathering place for the city's influential business leaders.
The building underwent extensive renovations in 1999 when Decision Technologies International purchased it and transformed the space for modern business use.
The structure stands as one of only two brick Colonial Revival buildings in Poughkeepsie, featuring a raised basement and detailed marble entrance surround.
