Weingut Emmerich Knoll

The Emmerich Knoll winery cultivates 16 hectares of vineyards along the northern bank of the Danube River in the Wachau wine region.

Since 1825, the Knoll family has maintained their wine production traditions, with the first glass bottles of their wine released in the 1950s.

Each wine bottle carries the image of Saint Urban, introduced in 1962, representing the connection between winemaking heritage and religious tradition.

The estate produces wines in three quality categories: Steinfeder, Federspiel, and Smaragd, with Riesling and Grüner Veltliner as primary grape varieties.

The winery maintains a restaurant called Loibnerhof, which has served local cuisine and their wines for four centuries.
