Hohe Kugel

Hohe Kugel is a mountain in the Bregenz Forest Mountains reaching about 1,645 meters (5,400 feet) in elevation. Multiple hiking routes connect through forested areas and alpine meadows on the way to the summit.

Hiking paths on this mountain developed over centuries as traditional routes connecting Alpine villages across Vorarlberg. These routes once facilitated exchange and travel between remote communities in different valleys.

From the summit, visitors can see four countries at once on clear days: Austria, Switzerland, Germany, and Liechtenstein. This rare vantage point makes the location particularly interesting for those curious about borders and neighboring regions.
