Schloss Poysbrunn is a fortified estate with four wings surrounding a rectangular courtyard that rises three stories high. Stone-framed windows and gable roofs define the exterior, while remnants of ancient defensive moats can still be seen to the south.
It was first documented in 1360 and received its current form around 1600 when Paul Sixtus von Trautson transformed it into a four-wing complex. This reshaping created the basic structure that defines it today.
Today it serves as a venue for cultural events and gatherings that bring people together throughout the year. The spaces reflect how the place has been adapted for modern use while maintaining its historic character.
