Dragonerkaserne Wels, Military barracks in Wels, Austria.
The Dragonerkaserne extends over three courtyards with a length of 337 meters and width of 123 meters near the center of Wels.
Construction of the military complex began in 1853 and finished in 1858, initially housing the Hussar Regiment Number 8 during its early years.
The museum in the southern wing of the western courtyard exhibits military artifacts, including uniforms and equipment from the 4th Dragoon Regiment.
The former horse stables have been transformed into residential apartments with natural wood materials and improved lighting through courtyard openings.
During the post-World War II period until 1955, the stables provided shelter for horses from the Spanish Riding School.
