Angelika Kauffmann Museum

The Angelika Kauffmann Museum occupies a renovated farmhouse wing and offers about 220 square meters of exhibition space with untreated silver fir wood. The space combines original wooden walls with modern architecture to display the artworks properly.

The original building dates from the 16th century and served as a farmhouse for centuries. In 2007, it was redesigned by an architect to provide space for the town's artistic heritage.

The museum displays works by Angelika Kauffmann, an 18th-century painter whose frescoes appear in the local Baroque church. Visitors encounter her paintings in a space that reflects the artistic heritage of the region.
