Kuchenspitze, Mountain summit in Landeck District, Austria.
The Kuchenspitze reaches an elevation of 3,148 meters in the Verwall range, positioned between the Stanzer Tal and Paznaun valleys of North Tyrol.
The initial ascent of Kuchenspitze took place on September 3, 1877, by Andreas Madlener and Julius Volland, while the main summit was conquered in 1884.
The mountain routes reflect the Austrian Alpine tradition of establishing challenging paths that require technical expertise and deep respect for natural formations.
Climbers access the summit through St. Anton am Arlberg via the Verwall valley to the Konstanzer Hut, requiring proper equipment for UIAA grade II conditions.
The Kuchenspitze features two distinct glaciers: the Großer Kuchenferner on the north face and the Kleiner Kuchenferner on the southwestern slope.
