Shikhov Beach

The beach stretches along the Caspian Sea coast, featuring sand areas and facilities approximately 9.5 kilometers south of central Baku.

Throughout the Soviet period and after independence, this beach has remained a central recreational destination for residents of metropolitan Baku.

The beach area includes numerous seafood restaurants serving Azerbaijani coastal specialties and traditional fish preparations from the Caspian Sea.

Visitors can reach the beach using bus routes 20, 137, 193, 219, 234, 283, 242, or 258, with parking available for 2 AZN per vehicle.

Industrial elements such as oil rigs dot the seascape, creating a contrast between natural coastal features and Azerbaijan's petroleum infrastructure.
