House-Museum of Bulbul

The House-Museum of Bulbul is a memorial space dedicated to the celebrated Azerbaijani singer, featuring four exhibition rooms within his former residence. The displays include manuscripts, recordings, photographs, notes, books, and objects that belonged to him during his lifetime.

The residence served as Bulbul's home and creative space from 1937 until his death in 1961, when it was converted into a museum in 1976. This transformation preserved the memory of one of Azerbaijan's most important artists for future generations.

The museum documents how Bulbul shaped modern Azerbaijani vocal music and became one of the country's most respected singers. His recordings and personal items show his impact on generations of musicians who followed.

The museum is located in the Sabail district and opens during regular hours with guided tours available through the preserved rooms. Check ahead for tour availability, as these walks provide better insight into the exhibits and the singer's life.

Three of the four exhibition rooms remain exactly as they were during the singer's lifetime, including his bedroom with original furnishings. This preserved arrangement allows visitors to experience his daily living space and artistic surroundings directly.
