The Gasim bey Bath features octagonal halls surrounded by smaller chambers, with stone plates covering the floors and ceramic tubes for heating.
Constructed in the 17th century near the Salyan gates of Icheri Sheher fortress, this bathhouse served travelers along the Silk Road.
The bathhouse incorporated specific areas for dressing, changing, and bathing, reflecting the traditional hamam practices of Azerbaijan.
In 1970, the structure underwent renovation and transformation into the Green Pharmacy while maintaining its historical architectural elements.
The bathhouse earned recognition as the Sweet Bath due to its tradition of serving sweets alongside tea to visiting bathers.
