Agha Mikayil Bath, Public bath in Old City, Baku, Azerbaijan.
The rectangular structure features pointed arches and domes arranged in proportional layers, with a prominent chimney rising above the building complex.
Constructed in the 18th century by Haji Agha Mikayil from Shamakhi, this bath stands on Kichik Gala Street as one of the oldest operating facilities in Baku.
The bath maintains traditional gender segregation practices, operating on separate days for men and women according to established Azerbaijani customs.
Visitors must bring their own towels and bathing supplies, following local protocols that require wearing appropriate coverings during the bathing experience.
The interior space contains square dressing rooms and bathing areas, designed differently from other local baths to accommodate more communal gatherings.
