Parc animalier de La Reid

Located across 44 hectares of meadows and forests, Forestia houses 300 European animals representing 30 different species in semi-natural conditions.

Founded in 1973 as a European game breeding facility, the park was purchased by Theux municipality in 1998 and later privatized in 2002.

The park organizes educational presentations about wolf social behavior and bear habits, along with seasonal programs during deer rutting periods.

The animal park operates daily from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with extended hours during summer, and includes the Forest'bar restaurant for dining options.

Visitors can spend nights in lodges constructed near animal enclosures, providing direct views of wolves, bears, and other European wildlife.
