Парк им. 50-летия Великого Октября, Public park in Zavodsky District, Minsk, Belarus
The park occupies a large area between Dolgobrodskaya Street and Partizansky Avenue with many walking paths and recreational zones spread throughout. The layout is designed to guide visitors through different sections, where you can find open spaces for rest alongside tree-covered areas for shade.
The park was established in 1967 on land that had previously been used as a forest zone with recreational purposes in mind. Over the following decades, infrastructure was gradually added to expand the facilities available to visitors.
The park includes the Traktor Stadium, which serves as a venue for sports events and outdoor gatherings throughout the year.
The Partizanskaya metro station provides convenient access to the park from various parts of Minsk. Public transport connections make planning a visit straightforward, and the location is easy to reach by several routes.
Coniferous trees dominate the landscape and come from a former forest area that belonged to the Minsk Diocese. These trees give the park its distinctive appearance and create a quiet environment unlike typical city parks.
