Valencia de Don Juan

The Castle of Coyanza stands on a hill overlooking the Esla River meadows, featuring Gothic elements and prominent tower structures at 762 meters elevation.

The settlement changed its name from Coyanza to Valencia de Campos in the thirteenth century before receiving its current name from Infante John of Portugal.
