Ibi

Ibi is an industrial municipality in Alicante province situated in a mountainous area at around 755 meters elevation. The town sits in a location with good transport links and hosts multiple manufacturing facilities.

The town evolved from a rural settlement into Spain's leading toy manufacturing hub during the twentieth century. This economic transformation shaped the community's identity and established it as an industrial center in the region.

The winter festival Els Enfarinats brings the community together for a playful tradition where people throw flour and eggs at each other in the streets. This celebration reflects the local spirit and remains an important gathering that defines the town's character each year.
