Carballo

Carballo is a municipality in northwestern Galicia with rolling countryside, streams, and farmland spread across its terrain. It comprises eighteen distinct parishes that together form this administrative area.

The municipality was established in 1836 and experienced economic growth during the 1940s through tungsten mining in the region. This mining activity left a lasting mark on the area's development.
